I love the color and brightness of these bulbs. I use them in 5 kitchen countertop lights. The color is perfect, a balance between a rich yellow and a light blue daylight tone. They also run relatively cool. Warm, almost hot to the touch, but not quite hot. The only criticism is of course the quality. I've had 2 of my original 6 burnouts in the last 9 months. I don't use them for dimmers either. I've just ordered some spares as I've tried many other high efficiency lamps to find the right color and brightness for my kitchen work.
