My Lenovo power cord broke a bit recently (especially the brick to laptop cord). Ordered as a replacement. Charges the laptop normally. Came with velcro to keep cord rolled up. The Brick has a 3-pin adapter to connect to the power cord, while the original Lenovo has a 2-pin. For this reason, the original power cord cannot be used as a backup. It doesn't bother me, but maybe important for frequent travelers. The brick is slightly larger and heavier than the original. The length of the cable from the brick to the laptop allows the brick to rest on the ground without too much tension (probably why my first cable failed).
