At first I was very impressed with this shower curtain. Pros: very heavy, doesn't blow up in the shower, very strong and durable, reinforcement in the material around the grommets so it should age well CONS: IT SMELLS SO BAD. I know it sounds like a small, insignificant problem. You just don't know My husband compared it to "in the shower, actively INSIDE a rubber ducky that has a habit of smoking". It's been 5 days, we've had 8 showers in that time and the stench is NOW starting to dissipate. It's such a strong smell that it drenched the whole house, gave me a headache and literally kept dogs out of the bathroom for 3 days. I was and still am very impressed with the quality of this shower curtain, especially for the price. However, it lost 2 stars in my rating because of a horrible, lingering, downright gross chemical smell emanating from it that refuses to go away. If smells bother you at all, I recommend buying another one. If not then the high quality is probably worth it to you, but for heaven's sake spray it on and hang it outside to air out at least the day before. hang it in your shower. I didn't and I was a fool.
