Works much better than holding on to a thin and slippery tablet, especially with gloves on. It works great with a protective glass that I bought separately. It protects the cameras well and prevents the screen from touching the surface of anything if you turn it upside down. The stand is also comfortable, unfolding easily and staying in place. Overall, this is a great case value and the equivalent of the ones named after a specific marine mammal that I've been using on my smartphones for years.
