Well engineered kit

Assembly was easy for the most part, there were some issues with some parts requiring a bit of glue or clear tape to stay in place - mainly knots on the Upper deck and wrapping of the largest outer bow The shell. Pulling the bow and stern put tension on the parts, causing the ledges to constantly pop out. I added a drop of glue, let it dry and moved on. The most difficult parts were the LED lighting filaments. I had 6-8 inches left, so I redid my work and checked to make sure I didn't accidentally miss anything. In the end I attached the extra ends inside the booth to create more light. Some window sections had LED wires but no lamps. The solution was to drape and tape LED strips so that each window has an LED light. I will admit this was my first kit so starting with a 266 piece kit was a bit ambitious. Overall, I really enjoyed it and my grandson loved it. We plan to place it in the showcase.
