Bad taste is not really an issue with this product, you can make it taste like cookies and cream if you use milk or milk substitute and use the right amount of (sugar) sweetener and some salt. Every other way I tried to mix it made it taste awful. While it smells nice when you first open the container, don't let that fool you. The real problem I had with this product was that I was terribly nauseous, felt like I had food poisoning but only a few hours afterward. like to drink it. I tried again a week after my first try to see if it was the product that was making me sick and it was. Luckily the second time around I took about half the recommended amount so I didn't get too sick and I used organic milk instead of coconut milk (which contained carrageenan and could make the problem worse as carrageenan can cause intestinal upset). alone, but not usually for me) It could be chia seeds or something, but my colon can't handle it. It even ruined my sink strainer due to the product's bizarre jelly-like nature when mixed with coconut milk; It sticks like no other food I've tried before, probably again because of the chia. Also, it is very thick, similar to cookie dough diluted with water. If it didn't induce vomiting I would give it more stars because it can taste relatively good when cooked properly. I literally couldn't digest it, not because it tasted bad, but because it was too heavy for the intestines. I've never had this problem with whey or rice protein powders.
