Advertised as waterproof; No, that is not so. I bought it for a squad car and waterproof is important, it rains hard in Houston and water can turn off your headlights when you need them most. I recreated the light falling into a glass of water as shown in the advertisement. I didn't want to spend hours installing lights only to get bad news after the fact. Within minutes, water could be seen collecting at the bottom of the lens. It's not like I intended to flood my car, but if anyone has experienced a Gulf Coast downpour, it's about the same. Houston's humidity will likely tear them apart, too. If there is an application where they can stay dry they might work well but don't buy if you think they will withstand wet weather, water and electronics are not compatible. False advertising aside, they looked and felt good for the price. I'll return them as soon as possible.
