These cases are very charming. I'll hit the color and texture. Both match the photo. The zippers worked well, although I wish the holes were bigger and the zippers easier to use. We use the seasonal pillowcases that came with our sofa to make the fir cozier. I'm deducting a star for this and a few other reasons. The pattern is cute but it seems it's already falling apart in a few spots (we've had them for less than a month, with no lids and no cats). So the seams opened a bit when inserting the existing cushions. So! I recommend our method if you are using already padded pillows: fold in half and tie in a bow (for easy detaching), tuck in, detach, fluff up the corners and hem, close them. You have to crush the pillows to close them. The rest is very nice. Let's see how they hold up to a light wash when the time comes. Wash inside out and in a mesh bag to protect the design.
