I have bought 3 of these baskets (in different colours) and have been using them for over a year now. I love her! They are strong and durable, at least for now. I like the way the handles are designed and attached as this is usually a weak point for baskets. They are pieces of rope with a knot at each end (inside) to keep them from coming out of the holes, and the holes are fitted with metal rings to keep them from fraying and stretching. One of the knots untied and untied once, and I dropped the basket, but tightened the knot and put a few stitches on it (for the rest of the baskets as well), just in case this wouldn't happen again. I think if the knots are pre-tightened they won't come undone, but I wanted to be safe. You have held up well. I also like that the basket looks good and stands on its own without collapsing when empty. The walls are very hard. You can also fold it down when not in use, which is a good option, although I don't need it. It has more than enough room for a full-size washer/dryer load. I have to carry them up and down two flights of stairs and after a year they show absolutely no signs of wear. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this product. UPDATE: It's been 5 years and we have a full line of these baskets for all family members and all linen colors. We use them all the time and even after all these years they still keep their shape perfectly! Even after child abuse. The best baskets!
