There is an unusually small selection of good HF headphones for home entertainment, but this on-ear feature is much better than my foam-lined Sennheiser HF kit, and the build quality seems better too be than my RIF6 headphones where the coating on the ear pads fell apart in 2 years. All three still work, but this is the best of the three. Excellent range on all three through multiple walls as I walk around the house. MUCH better than Bluetooth which I think is closer to a 10 foot range without walls blocking the signal.
