I love my pup like you, but I also love my SQ5! My Jack mix is wiry with lots of white, bristly hair. This protector covers ALL bases! For one, it has a mesh right down the middle that faces the two front seats, so it can still see everything you're doing and the vents are unobstructed. It fits in the back seat like a Hamic. Not only does it have hooks and loops for dry cleaning hooks, but it completely bypasses your front and rear seats as shown, with room for your pet. There is also an original buckle that fits right into your seat buckle and attaches straight to your pet's leash or harness just to hold it in place, I didn't have to use that. In addition, the sides facing the doors are fully zippered and zipped, making it easy for you to take your pet out. They can also stick out of windows without damaging your armrests. I didn't have high hopes for a $30 seat cover but I'm totally impressed and everyone who has seen it because we live on the beach and take our dogs everywhere has ordered one, it's a brilliant design. It shakes right out of everyone's hair. Has a pocket to store the water bowl and a leash for easy access. It is also an ideal gift for those who are actively involved with their pet. I can't say enough about this product!
