I gave my guitarist friend a Suplight black stainless steel pick and while he thought the idea was a cool idea, we both had mixed feelings. On the plus side, the quality of the chain is very good. The stainless steel pendant is well made and looks elegant and classy with its black surface. The necklace itself is adjustable and will fit a variety of neck sizes. However, for us the negative aspects outweighed the negative aspects. The biggest problem is that the brick pendant is quite heavy, making it uncomfortable to carry for long periods of time. Also, since it's made of metal, it makes unwanted clanking noises when it hits other surfaces. Overall I think this could make a great gift for someone who is genuinely interested in music and wants a unique accessory, but be aware of the potential discomfort and noise factor.
