This product can be useful for removing noticeable scratches but may leave minor, granular scratches. This applies in particular to CDs and DVDs. It may be a good idea not to use it unless absolutely necessary. I used it on a magnifying glass and it did a pretty good job. I advise caution on discs that are not badly scratched. Read the warnings carefully and use in a well-ventilated area.
