I like everything about it except the menu screen is hard to open because of the frame. It's easier to pull sideways with your finger, but still difficult. I end up trying to push my finger on the top edge and pull down, but it's easier when the tablet is rotated horizontally. A bit clunky but in case of a fall it will definitely save him. Just a compromise between overprotective verses and a light body that might not protect as well. I like other functions. The wrist strap is amazing and the kickstand works great. I like the strap too. It doesn't lay completely flat on a table, but has low-angle capability with a stand. So I don't need it to lie perfectly flat. Putting it together wasn't difficult at all either, just use and store the tools provided. Has two top frames, I chose an open frame because I ordered tempered glass instead. But I've heard you need to remove the protective film covering the bezel that comes with the screen protector attached. I have no intention of changing until I stop there. You can always have another light case if you want to alternate it with the light case from time to time. Super happy with it
