This is the perfect solution for a non-portfolio laptop sleeve. Stylish and functional, it's made from durable material that stays lightweight. It has a padded inner pocket for a laptop and another for a tablet. I have a laptop that is almost 16 inches long and fits perfectly. My iPad mini fits snugly in my front pocket. There is also a zippered compartment that can hold multiple cables or a wallet. The cabin itself is actually quite spacious with space for a change of clothes so you can use it as a holdall as well. The front compartment holds whatever else you need and zips up to keep your valuables safe. The only downside to this pack is that the connectors on the outer flaps are made from a semi-rigid plastic that looks like it could break faster than leather or fabric. The color is more olive green than the turquoise pictures, but the inside is turquoise with a nice geometric pattern. It's not heavy at all, which has been an issue for me with other laptop backpacks. I love the style and functionality of this backpack, but wish the external ports were heavy and didn't protrude so much. TO UPDATE! I've used it on several more trips and the more I use it the more I like it. It fits everything I would normally fit in a small carry-on, but the padding in the laptop area is really well done. I'm still concerned about the plastic grommets that hold the strap in place. It is very convenient to carry around.
