Review on Vinkor Flameless Candles Battery Operated Candles 4&#34 by Kevin Vanlaere

I have a few sets of flameless candles. I leave the little ones at the piano so my son can play with the lights off and enjoy the atmosphere of the flickering candles. I have another set on the same kitchen counter and bought a set for my daughter's college dorm. When I saw this set I knew it would be perfect for my son's bedroom as it looks more rustic and masculine. Candles look just like the picture. They have a brown tint, but the flickering light comes through well. The candles work fairly well with the remote control, but there are two issues I've encountered. First, the candles will NOT respond to the remote control as they go from flickering to steady on. I can't get this to work at all. Second, the flicker tends to go into what's known as "hyper" mode every few seconds, where instead of a realistic flicker, it suddenly transitions into a super-fast flicker for a few seconds before reverting to realistic mode. It doesn't bother me too much at the moment, but I wonder if it wouldn't be more noticeable in a completely darkened room where it would be the only light source.
