Razor was as described by BOTH. Arrived shave ready. I made several motions with the belt as advertised, lathered it up, and began shaving. quality product. I wish American straight razors were still made, but since that's not the best for us, old farts who like a good clean shave for the cleanliness and comfort NOT attainable with a safety razor,
