is good but not as good as other brushes every time we use soapy water or a bowl at least one hair falls out. West Coast Shave I love the feel and the look. Comfort is individual. Decent base and works like a face razor with a bit of scraping but for someone new it's ok as all the brushes have a feel! only hair loss 5 out of 6 or so used is a bummer if you like the look go for it :) again see what you think all my shaving reviews will say its all so personal you just have to try it to find out if the handle works for her it might be worth tying another knot as I really think it looks and holds up well with the two materials it's made of. I had one of their coasters but the handle was scratched, the coaster came back very quickly! Just grab a cheap acrylic that works great and twirl it with the badger and boar brushes I have.
