tapes are generally decent. I'm not sure how accurate they are as I haven't used any other tapes to compare. You seem fine. Easy enough to use if you need to take your measurements yourself like I did. They're not particularly great, but they work as intended. The end used to hold the tape seems quite tight so this might be an issue for you. I'm only used to inserting them about halfway in for easier removal. Definitely a star deduction for that. That's something I don't even need to talk about. That shortcoming aside, they meet my expectations but don't exceed them. Judging by the price, they're worth the little hassle. I bought the add-ons, so I hope I don't have to buy them again, at least not for a long time. If they hold up, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
