Too bad the top cover came off!

Too bad the top cover cannot be removed. The brushes would be much more accessible instead of having to unscrew everything to get at the brushes. I have a clothes moth problem and wanted to store my pig hair and other non-synthetic brushes in it. (Little critters seem to eat anything "real"! (Wool, fur, cat here, human hair, linen, even cotton if they're hungry!) Good thing. Idea for me. But it doesn't stand alone when brushes are in it The container is good for large brushes, but my small brushes, which are not synthetic,
