The soles are removable as per other reviews.
We went through two couples in 3 months. These shoes are used as indoor shoes at my son's school and the soles came off very quickly on both pairs. This morning I tried to glue them back instead of buying ANOTHER pair so we'll see what happens. I won't buy this again.
