In this new world of wireless and cellular dominance, most homes don't even have a phone with a handset that uses one of them. My little grandkids absolutely love it and consider it a toy because they don't have one at home! But we still have a landline phone, and it fills the bill if you want to hand the phone to the person across the room. Quality is good, reception is good, and yes they still get tangled and you have to get up in the chair and have it rotated regularly to get rid of those pesky tangles!
