Review on NEUMI CS5 Center Channel Speaker - Dual 5-Inch Woofers, 1-Inch Tweeter - Dark Wood - Single Unit by Keith Saywon

As the owner of Neumi BS5 bookshelf speakers I was a bit excited when I ordered this center speaker. Firstly, it has the same sound characteristics as a bookshelf, which makes it easy to combine with a home theater that already uses the BS5 as left and right speakers. Pros: Speech clarity and intelligibility are excellent, dialogue is very clear without having to turn up the center speaker volume. Distortion when played at high volume is not distracting and does not detract from the viewing experience. Its compact size makes it easy to integrate into most home theaters. When playing vocals and music they roll off while creating a clear, slightly thin sound, subwoofers are a must. Listening off-axis (sitting to the left or right of the speaker) more than 10 degrees will result in a noticeable drop in mid-range response, which can affect speech intelligibility Speakers near a wall or on a TV stand can solve this by connecting the S-connector with low impact on the bass. It replaces my Pioneer SP-C22 center channel in my home theater, it plays louder and clearer with less power. This is a simple suggested retail price.
