Depending on the projects you are working on these Panavise will last a few years or multiple projects. I had to replace the original sponges on my Panavise 381, but that's not the product's fault, it's more the years of use. Like most if not all (possibly) Panavise vises, these jaws are made in the United States of America. Brass, nylon and galvanized steel, so there are certainly Panavise sponges to choose from.
