Due to the low price, I had rather low expectations for this dress. However, I was very pleasantly surprised when I got it. It's actually quite cute and well made. It's not perfect and there are a few sequins but I expected the quality you get from an expensive, low quality Halloween costume store. It's not like that at all. The sequined peacock pattern is gold, black and emerald and is repeated on the front and back of the dress. The fringes are turquoise-emerald green rather than pure emerald green. I usually wear medium sized clothes but following the advice of other reviews I went up a size and I'm glad I did. While I think a medium size will suffice, the large size gives more room for comfort, especially with sequins. For those looking for a standard dress with flaps, this may not be for you. Even hanging on a hanger, you can clearly see that the dress is deliberately tailored to be more figure-hugging. The fabric is clearly fitted at the waist and not straight. And the fabric lining is a more elastic material. I gave it four stars because there are some quality issues but I really like the dress. The accessory kit I bought from the same company was a pleasant surprise.
