I like these, they have a round gasket that goes into the duct around the edge. You can also make a bit more width at each end if you need it - about 2-1/2" instead of 1-3/4" if you cut a waterproof channel at each end - assuming you don't need one. be waterproof. The main body is only 3-1/4 inches wide and fits most of the length. Useful depth is 1-1/2 on the large half and 5/8 on the top half. The quality is good, the threaded inserts are metal and give a good closing pressure between the halves.
