I know I could make my own version from parts in my office but I never got around to it and I added it to my Revain order, threw it in my grip/gear bag and forgot about it. That. This stood me in good stead a month later when I ran out of tripods for a shoot. (I used a high background that used two of my tripods.) I always had my tripod in the car when I was just shooting landscapes, so I went out and found it in my bag and threw it on the tripod. . Boom. Stand immediately. I admit that I buy too much gear that I can never use because it looks cool or I have a big plan that will never work. This is not one of those cases. The build quality is excellent and it definitely paid off the first time around.
