IF I'm getting married or hosting a special event, THESE white flickering LEDs I can trust will LAST OVER 250 HOURS OF SAFE CONTINUOUS USE and then some! Updated 6th February 2020 and it's ALMOST time to reorder or buy batteries as I'm still using the same original pack in about 12 candle holders around the house. After doing my first test and finding out they run 250 HOURS PLUS continuously I turned them off because I had to leave the house for a few days so I know they are very long lasting only 16 died of 24, and you can Oddly enough buy a set of 4 batteries for a very low price as an add on so they are easy to replace. I use a few daily and when I'm having fun in the evenings I turn them all on one at a time and I still have 4 with the original battery that works. There is no remote control with them and that's not a problem as they work amazingly! Original Review • Yes I ordered 2 auto on/off tea light remotes with upgraded smooth remotes and one came with backup batteries and liked it at first but this remote came with extra batteries because even if you turn it off remotely, you will continue to use the battery in some way. THE NEXT DAY I went to turn them on, they were ALL DEAD and looked more realistic but I prefer them everyday as every brand name battery they have just works and keeps working. If I wanted to use a remote control with soft white authentic tea lights, I would have to manually turn them on and off, which completely defeats the purpose of the remotes. 9 months later for home use. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST ENERGY EFFICIENT and I now recommend them for various types of events as I am very active in my community and of course for the wedding and 15 EVENTS LATER THERE IS NO FAULT WITH THIS BRAND and they have been used by the same hosts multiple times for an OTHER EVENT to take home to keep. * IF you are getting married, consider yourself very lucky, YOU HAVE THE BEST RECENT LIGHTS FOUND FLASHING TEA LIGHTS HERE to experience EVERYDAY in my home use DAY! These are BY FAR THE MOST RELIABLE TEA CANDLES ON AMAZON even without the new sleek remote control and you will know if you go by my 4 experiences they dim a lot and still flicker. I've used them when they weren't entertaining and they still last a while. Always do your due diligence and test them and make sure over time they all have the same brightness for a replacement because nothing is foolproof. ALL of them must come with a latch that covers the batteries to prevent accidental activation and save them. others because I live in the "House of Revane" so if you see it in the background like a cocktail table or real blocks of crystal that seem to make time float, yes that's there too. And when they finally rip, just switch to the same lithium batteries and keep using or order more if you're impressed and you need 48 or more.
