Go at least 1-2 sizes up and order at least 2 different sizes to try on.
This dress is cute but too small. Order at least 1-2 sizes larger. My daughter is 10 and I ordered a size 9-10. It was too tight. So I ordered 10-12. It was exactly the same size and very dense. 14 was slightly larger, but still not perfect.
