I've used so many different editing programs over my years in film & TV production that it's hard not to like some aspects of others' features but dislike other things about them! However even after all these years there are still ways we're making use of "old school" tools such as After Effects which have been around longer than most people alive today will ever know - sometimes they just work better! The interface itself isn't anything special by any means though once you get past that then the program becomes very easy to figure out if you need help along the way at least :) As long as your using something similar to Premiere Pro (or Final Cut) when working with audio/video files, Avid Media Composer has always been reliable from what i'm told anyway. So far no issues here. It does take time getting used to, especially without knowing someone who knows everything first hand. But again once you do learn.
