First, I have a full size/king Buffy duvet. This is a great product...incredibly comfortable, but it can be a bit warm for me. A full-size XL bed for one person drives a beast - it's HUGE. And I can only wash in an industrial washing machine. (I don't like bed sheets, and when I bought Buffy they weren't recommended to me.) It's picky. But I like the idea and started looking for an alternative. Slightly smaller, lighter and machine washable at home. This is an insert for a duvet cover from Bien Living. I've used it almost every night for a month and it's wonderful. It's light but very effective in keeping me warm enough. I sleep through the night without waking up in a sweat. (I don't use a duvet cover and I don't use anything else when I sleep - no other comforters or flat sheets.) Twice the size is large without grinding the floor. It washes like a dream - the filling doesn't move or stick together, and after being machine dried it bunches up again. I'm so glad I found this! I'll be using my Buffy when something arctic hits Southern California, but the Bien Living duvet cover will definitely be my pick for fall and winter.
