I have a network switch on my shelves that sits 5 inches above my cable modem. So I figured a 6 inch cable would be perfect. HOWEVER, it turns out that this "6" cable is actually a 3" cable with two very long 1.5" terminations on each end. Needless to say the 3 inch cable didn't work in my case and now I have to order the 1 foot cable and wait for it to arrive. However I will not be returning the cable as the cable was pretty cheap and I might one day find a use for a cable that is only ><6" real cable, look elsewhere. On the plus side is this cable is quite flimsy and seems to have decent speed despite the wire being shorter than my thumb.
