Review on ✂️ Fiskars 196920-1001 Portable Scrapbooking Trimmer: 12 Inch, Blue - A Must-Have Tool for Crafters and Scrapbook Enthusiasts! by Michelle Langley

Good but not very durable. Cuts sharp edges but may not last as long

Lighter and slimmer design than the heavy paper cutter I'm used to. However, I can't find replacement blades, so the old paper cutter is useless. The Fiskar trimmer works surprisingly well, unless you need to adjust the size of where the fold-out extension connects to the body. The cuts are straight and have no noticeable defects. The blade fits into a space in the middle of the plastic that holds it in place. This makes it easier to size accurately. In addition, the plastic folds back making it very easy to remove shredded paper that can build up and cause problems. The product is clearly made for photos; The surface is marked with outlines showing where to place regular-size photos. I find this mostly unnecessary and it's actually quite handy when I want to use one of the print sizes. I doubt it will work well on very thick paper or card, but this small, lightweight, easy-to-use, and open design avoids some of the annoying pitfalls of my previous paper cutter. Definitely worth trying; It's so cheap that if you don't like it, drop the price on two or three coffees at Starbucks.
