I like these but I'm giving them three stars because I think they look too "modern" for a vintage or artisan-oriented style. These look brand new. I have to find a way to piss her off. BUT they are great for my purposes. I'm planning to make one out of thin lace on the background, glue some tiny buttons into it, and a small b&w photo of my grandmother sewing. be astonished. Type in "pocket watch" and the ideas are endless. As for quality, they are heavy and durable, with reliable fasteners. DO NOT buy the cheaper ones on Ebay from China as they will not last and are likely to contain lead.
