Review on πŸ–₯️ Monoprice Blackbird 4k Up and Down Converter for Enhanced Resolutions: 720p@60Hz, 1080p@60Hz, 4K@30Hz, and 4K@60Hz by Ronnie Polk

Output processing only

No input resolution limit (maximum 720, 1080 etc. for a device that only recognizes a maximum resolution device, such as those that don't have this permission) Settings like Android that limit only the output device properties determine. In other words, if your Android device has to programmatically output at a higher resolution than it natively, it's going to be slow, slow, slow. In my case, Stadia outputs to a Qualcom 865+ device but with a 1080p screen (One + 8). When outputting via HDMI cable to 1080 TVs without problems, fast as usual (very). But when you output to 4k TV via HDMI cable, then it became so much slower and I thought maybe this device will allow me to set the maximum input resolution, no, so in principle it's good to know its capabilities and limitations .
