Review on 🍜 DeeCoo 18 oz Porcelain Bowls - Set of 6 by Raffy Baer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

My favorite thing is fruit bowls!

Perfectly sized bowls for small snacks/meals that are easier to handle such as B. Ice cream. They're larger than Depression-era berry bowls, more than twice the size, but smaller than the average soup/cereal bowl, just a tad. They were well packaged in their own box in the Revain shipping box with another order and it bubbled well in the Revain box so couldn't be pushed around. I ordered them mainly because I only like two interior styles: strawberry and lemon. I would order a set of 6 of each of these templates alone. The apple sample was ok. The pink and blue-orange daisy pattern was cute, but I would have skipped those patterns at the store myself (I prefer fruit patterns for plate designs). The children's drawing of blue flowers with the image of birds may seem cute to some, but I like them the least. Appearance is also undesirable: it should be dark blue or black. the set was in perfect condition. The 3 fruit samples that I wanted the most and was the main reason for ordering had a perfect inside, but all 3 had 1 frosting defect on the outside of the peel: luckily the lemon only had 1 tiny dot of dark/black color underneath the Frosting (so it's barely noticeable, but I tried to photograph it), the strawberry had a rough white small patch of missing frosting near the rim of the bowl that wasn't part of the outer design of the missing frosting (again that picture) and on was most noticeable, and finally the apple had a missing transparent fingernail-sized icing spot of green color near the bottom of the bowl (trying to photograph) and it was barely noticeable. Since all 3 small imperfections were on the outside icing of the bowls, and they all have large designs with no icing on the outside anyway, I didn't remove the stars. I was sad however that my 2 favorite bowls had some issues, the strawberry was a bright pinkish red and not the bright red shown in the product photos. Lemons are bright bright yellow. Time to get more of my 2 favorite fruit designs and hopefully perfect bowls from them as all the flower bowls were perfect I know they can be perfect. Then I can always donate the bowls I don't need anyway, or just the ones I really don't like (navy/black floral bowl. I think the other 2 floral designs are cute enough to keep and use). Bowl colors and designs I would have liked much more than floral motifs, matching 3 fruit bowls: orange on the outside with orange on the inside, light blue on the outside with blueberries/blackberries on the inside, light pink on the outside with pink strawberries and red on the outside with red cherries. Additional color options are peach on the outside with peach slices and peaches on the inside, light purple on the outside with purple grapes on the inside with green vine leaves/vines and light green/light green on the outside with lime on the inside, or green grapes on the inside, or green pears on the inside, or soft lettuce/celery on the inside, pink on the outside with watermelon and watermelon slices (triangles/wedges) inside, purple outside with purple eggplant inside or plums. Edit/Update: After literally 3 uses and 4 hand washes, the lemon peel has lost some of the yellow glaze on the outside of the peel. The lemon zest also has a super lumpy yellow frosting, I didn't remember it being so lumpy around the exterior design when it first arrived. Now she has very noticeable lumps of glaze. The fallen icing was tiny bits of yellow in a flower pattern on the outside of the bowl, so now one flower is gone, leaving just a white blob in its place on the bowl. I've only used the lemon zest in the microwave once to make instant ramen, the other time it was granola and ice cream. Then I hand washed it. So such rapid loss of glaze is not a good sign of a well glazed object, regardless of design. The lumps in the glaze are weird too. My order came right after the bowls were refilled at Revain, so they must have been sent in a hurry and made poorly, or they quickly packaged second quality (poor quality that most good companies would throw away or recycle rather than sell, if they know they know they were of poor quality). ). Good quality bowls should not have glaze defects on arrival or with light use which is why I deducted 2 stars as selling a poor quality product is unforgivable. Other bowls work well but still have their original flaws. The bowls would hold up much better if there wasn't an outside pattern drawn in wax that would loosen the glaze on the outside. I bought the design bowls with inner printing and had no problems with the inner glaze. I would have preferred a solid exterior color with nice interior prints. .
