Review on Buttons Velour Baby Wipes Pack by Robert Bridgewater

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great long lasting dual texture wipe (took a little time to absorb but now absorbs superbly) - great value!

These are great but the two layers of fabric tend to slip during use. If it bothers me too much, I just quickly sew a cross stitch on each napkin. The green side texture is great for removing heavy soiling during nappy changes (or for a damper application during cleaning), while the white side is perfect for final cleaning of a soiled nappy. We keep the tissue solution in one of those syringe bottles (per bottle) that come in the supply bag that most hospitals give their mothers for postpartum bath care. This allows us to wet each cloth as needed without the whole stack "rotting” there. If I could I would give this 4.5 stars instead of five (had to round up) because it took about 4-6 months of regular use and washing before they really broke. During the break-in phase, I wet a rag with our syringe and the water rolled off. I solved this problem by putting the tissue in a cheap plastic box (like the 5" x 5" multipack from the dollar store), soaking it in it and letting it soak, unbuttoning the diaper buttons and getting the baby ready to take it to use filters. change. Soaked under running water, they absorb better, but it's also inconvenient how/where we change diapers. But now that they're disassembled, they soak up the solution from the spray bottle with ease, and I can see that they last a long time! We have at least two years of use ahead of us (with two kids so far) and given the price I think it's a great option for cloth towels (especially since they're about half the price of towels we sell). diaper shop). Please note they do not look like cotton pads. If you're looking to save money or really need cotton, cut your old t-shirts into squares and quickly sew an X onto each square and zigzag around the edges (we've had this before, these will fall off). apart from a few years of use). For a strong, durable wipe I would say they will do the job very well! Plus, the green color stands out from the pile of diapers that come out of the dryer with every wash. easy to sort and ready for the next diaper change.
