Nice stand with some weight, the finish seems very good, solid and the bottom is made of soft material so it doesn't scratch or move when you put it on the sink countertop. I have one of the Muehle R89 razors which this stand was designed for, I don't think it will hold other razors as it holds the razor upside down and uses the way the razor handle was designed specifically for it. . Looks like the stand will work with brushes other than mill brushes. I've used the Dovo Silvertip Badger Brush with a sand micarta handle with no problems, and I will keep other brushes with a standard wide base. Overall I'm very happy with the stand and its construction, it feels high quality and would buy it again.
