I started looking for a Wheel Stand Pro Super G to mount my Logitech G29 but quickly came across the OpenWheeler Gen 2. Based on many positive reviews I decided that it was worth the extra money to get a complete racing rig. Glad I took the plunge! I added the OpenWheeler Seat Lift Kit and OpenWheeler Universal Bracket to add the Buttkicker Mini LFE subwoofer to my setup. With these updates I no longer have a racing seat, I have a racing simulator! The product was packaged very well and the box was no bigger than it should have been. Assembly and setup was easy. I suggest that you purchase a seat height adjustment kit at the time of purchase to simplify the installation process and save you the hassle of taking everything apart later. I think the seat lift kit should be included as standard as it is so good, but I understand the manufacturer is trying to keep the price down to compete with other solutions. My first recommendation for future improvements involves repositioning the three large knobs at the base of the steering column and main mounts. Their location makes getting in and out a bit awkward and it seems like I keep banging my feet on them. The setup is solid enough but if they could add big handles on the side it would make getting in and out easier. My second recommendation would be to change the design so that I can move the handlebars further away from me but bring the pedals closer. I like to ride with my arms a little more outstretched. Maybe a U-shaped notch in the cleat? Overall I'm very happy with the OpenWheeler setup and my buddy is impressed with it. Now he loves to play Gran Turismo. He used to say he wasn't into racing games but now he definitely loves it! Very happy with my investment.
