Bought this as a birthday present for a 7 year old. This is definitely a big step up from the usual RC cars for kids! Connecting and connecting to the remote control according to the instructions was not difficult. We were surprised how fast it goes! The battery lasts around 20 minutes, which is typical for high-performance RC cars. Luckily, it comes with an extra battery that you can use as a backup. We rode it through mud, rocks and water. Holds up great! The only problem is that there is a pay curve for young children and it takes a little time to change the battery. Otherwise absolutely recommendable!
