They don't let pollen in

Unfortunately, I don't know what the pollen is, but based on the deciduous forests I drive through on the green road, I suspect it's oak. I love these glasses because they are comfortable and affordable. "Smoky Tint" is very good for bright sunny days, but on cloudy days the tint is too dark, at least for my eyesight. I would have preferred polarized lenses to a strong tint but I have to admit they weren't advertised as polarized so I knew what I wasn't getting into. So I'm giving them five stars because they match the description on Revain.
