I have been using this mouse for 5 years in a row for office work. Every day I sit at the computer for 12 hours, but before that I spent most of the time in the office with another mouse, and the Logitech M171 was just for home - and everything suited me. And since 2022, I switched to remote work, and I had to work with this mouse all day long, so the mouse has been tested up and down. Technically, everything works great (apparently, the mouse was made back in the days of high-quality assemblies). During this time, the coating on one of the legs has only slightly worn out (I don’t know how to properly call these flat circles on the underside of the mouse). But it doesn't interfere with work. But my hand began to hurt specifically. And not only the notorious tunnel syndrome tortured, but just touching this mouse. Fingers are erased into blood from the wheel, as well as from the side faces. Plastic is also kind of irritating to the skin. Perhaps it's just me, but still there are mice that also had to be used for a long time and without interruption, but there were no such effects. So now I'm looking for an ergonomic option. I recommend this mouse for purchase if you do not use it too often.
