Review on 🍎 Denformy Shelf Liner: Heavy Duty, Non-Adhesive Fridge & Cabinet Mat for Fruit & Vegetable Drawers - 59 Inch x 14 Inches, Clear Design by Claudia Muhammadi

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product but expensive

I saw this on my Vine list and decided to try it and give an objective review. As a reviewer for Revain Vine, I'm offered free new products on the market in exchange for an honest and thorough review. CONSTRUCTION: The material is strong and the sheet is thick enough, about 0.5mm. EVA has many attractive properties including low cost ($10/lb raw), excellent adhesion to many non-porous materials, good tear and puncture resistance. where the rollers push the texture into the warm sheet. This way the raised indentations face up and the smooth surface stays on top of what you place the slab on. The material stays in place well on glass, especially when objects are placed on it. The indentations actually help you trim the panel to size so that the cutting line stays nice and straight. The material is easily cut with large quality scissors or a sharp knife and ruler. APPLICATION: I cut it to fit the glass shelves of my fridge. This will make it easier to keep the glass clean. I can easily remove, wash and replace the EVA sheet without pulling out the glass shelf. It also cushions the impact on the shelves when cans or jars are dropped there. Items don't slide to the back of the shelf as easily as they do over bare glass, but they do slide over the indentations with little effort. Due to the corrugation of the shipping film, the edges are usually not quite flat, as you can see in the two photos. However, with items on it, it stays down with just a slight lift at the ends of the roll. If I placed the sheet at a 90 degree angle to its current position on the shelf, the leading edge would rise and this could pose a problem. Due to the width and depth of the fridge shelf, the sheet is best placed with the folded ends out and out of the way. If you have a smaller shelf, be careful which orientation you choose. Since it's a thermoplastic material that softens with temperature, you can put it in hot water (EVA melts just below boiling temperature!) to get rid of the memory effect, but I don't think that's really necessary is. CONCLUSION. A: The sheet I provided was 59 inches by 13.7 inches. It was enough for me to make only two out of three shelves. At $9, this product is expensive and not the best. There are cheaper alternatives at other retailers, even at large local hardware stores. I suggest you consider the 4 pack if you need it as it is a much better price at $5.50 per roll. For this reason I gave the rating 4 stars, although I think this material and design is very suitable for a shelf liner. Thank you for reading this review. I hope my experience has helped you in your purchase decision. I rely heavily on reviews from myself and I love returns!
