Very, very disappointed

That's what I was afraid of: no bass. Not much better than TV speakers. No EQ controls, just three presets: Flat, Jazz, and Rock. I want to boost frequencies below 100 Hz. The rest is vocals and high frequencies. The sound corresponds approximately to that of a clock radio. I was hoping for real bass at low volumes - none. I am returning this item and buying a JPL Flip 4 which I have now hooked up from my friend. Wow what a difference! Real BASS! Without too much cunning. This soundbar is a really cheap Bluetooth speaker that I could never get working with an optical connection. Frequency response is TERRIBLE on most Bowfells. Should have read the reviews first. Count on it; Spend $80 and get a JPL Flip 4 or Flip 5 instead. I started a refund the same day I received it. Absolutely not recommended. should have known My expectations of this product were too high based on the product description. Don't let the word "subwoofer" fool you. It doesn't have a subwoofer. It basically sounds like a clock radio on a megaphone, only the mids are boosted. Avoid, avoid. I would rename this product Minory Sound falls short. ***** UPDATE ***** There is a solution to cheaply improve the sound quality. I bought an Eliskin Bluetooth to RCA (digital to analogue) converter which allows me to connect the output to an AUX input on my stereo which has multi-frequency equalisation, bass boost and 400w of power. Problem solved. The sound quality is incomparable. The only way out of this weak soundbar is to buy a more expensive TV with a built-in amplifier, which I will not do as the sound problem is solved.
