I bought the SilverStarJewel Sterling Silver Garnet January Stone Stud Earrings as a birthday gift for my best friend who was born in January. Earrings arrived on time, well packaged. They looked beautiful online and I was thrilled to see them in person. However, when I opened the package I was disappointed with the size of the earrings. They were only 1.5cm which is smaller than I expected. I wanted something that would stand out and these earrings were too small. Also, the color of the garnets wasn't as deep as I had hoped, which makes them appear dull in person. On a positive note the silver used for the earrings was of good quality and the pin was solid. The earrings also came with a certificate of authenticity which was a nice touch. Overall, the SilverStarJewel Sterling Silver Garnet January Stone Stud Earrings aren't terrible, but they're not outstanding either. I give them three stars out of five for their stunning size and lack of shine.
