Our cat has allergies and scratches facial wounds to the point that they don't heal. The vet gave us a plastic cone but that seemed to cause more problems because it blocked her whiskers so she couldn't see her surroundings. I didn't even know such products existed and when I bought them I was afraid I would regret it. It was a lifesaver as our cat doesn't even seem to realize she's wearing it. She is not afraid, acts normal and even acts like a pillow when she is sleeping! I was concerned that she might still scratch her face because she has long legs, but that wasn't a problem. I only have one complaint and that is that the collar has a slight tear at the seam. I'm glad I bought it and I highly recommend the plastic cone. Plus, it's so adorable we can't stand it!
