I own most of the company's Artis brushes and I love the big ones and the small ones are hard to maneuver (at least for me). Now for Yoseng Large Oval, I think it's right on par with Artis. I've read several reviews claiming Artis is softer, better etc sold by Neumann etc should be higher.” My customers have tried Yoseng and of course I haven't felt any difference. Spread foundations, tinted moisturizers, etc. evenly, thoroughly and at high speed. Aesthetically I don't like rose gold, it seems to be everywhere so the Artis in white is chic, elegant and beautiful, but it's a very expensive price to pay just for the looks. The pen seems solid enough but I wouldn't use force or aggressiveness when applying, after all the brush does all the work for you. PS And last but not least, my foundation/tinted moisturizer applied perfectly in less than 12 seconds. , God forbid. As for washing, just wash it like you would any of your makeup brushes (I use Neutrogena, Pears, or any mild glycerine soap because they rinse thoroughly. Between washes I pour some rubbing alcohol onto a paper towel, then blot the bristles back and further, this method not only sterilizes but also removes fresh debris.
