I'm addicted to the idea of steam cleaning living spaces instead of manually cleaning them with chemicals. I've spent a couple of weekends looking at the many steam cleaners on the market. I've spent hours watching videos on YouTube where I found the most popular steam cleaners are the Dupray Neat and McCollough MC 1375 or 1385. I was keen to go with the Dupray Neat system. But after reading some of the reviews I was disappointed. The large number of positive and negative reviews made the selection difficult. Some of the reviews were just petty and subjective, others were more substantive. What bothered me the most was how cheap the components were. Most reviews have been consistent in this regard. There were many negative reviews about parts and accessories. I liked the fact that Dupray Neat had a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel kettle and 2 years on accessories (but read the warranty to see what the warranty covers). When I heard about the Moongiantgo, I was impressed with its performance. Unfortunately there were no unbiased reviews on YouTube or Revain so buying this product would be blind faith (risk was zero as it was a Revain Prime purchase and it would cost nothing to return it if needed). It was twice the price of a Dupray Neat steam cleaner; So I thought it would be twice as good. The website claims that the steam cleaner heats up to 145 degrees Celsius (293 degrees Fahrenheit). It has also been said to be a continuous cleaner (you can add water at any time during cleaning). I was at home when the product arrived, so the carrier gave me the box. I was surprised by the home light box. On the website the product weighs around 8 pounds (one of the lightest steam cleaners on the market). Of course I thought it couldn't be a steam cleaner. When I opened the box there was another box covered in black plastic. I unwrapped the plastic, opened the box and examined the accessories. They looked really cheap and flimsy. I didn't think they would hold up after a few uses. I examined the canister. It reminded me of a cheap plastic toy. The part that attaches to the back of the cord wrap seemed so flimsy that I didn't think it could wrap the cord. I was debating whether to return the product or try it. What helped me with the decision is the documentation. The front page said they made changes to improve the product. They lowered the maximum temperature from 145C (on the website) to 135C. I was disappointed because I bought the product due to the high temperature indicated on the website. The document also states that it was not a permanent steam cleaner as stated on the website. Also a disappointment. And the warranty for the whole unit was only one year, and the boiler was aluminum. The product was indeed made cheaply and overpriced. I felt cheated considering how much I paid for it! I have decided to return this product immediately. It really is overpriced: twice the price of the very popular Dupray Neat steam cleaner. I would have preferred the Dupray (which comes with a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel shell), although some reviewers complained about cheap accessories and poor cable management. At least I thought the price of Dupray Neat was fair. Then I discovered the Vapamore MR-100 Primo Steam Cleaner. It's made in Europe and features a retractable cord and accessory storage. It's twice the price of Dupray Neat, but with a retractable cord and a lifetime warranty on the stainless steel boiler and accessories, is it worth the price? As soon as I receive it I will write a review about it.
