On my 2014 Ram 2500, I noticed that the doors would lock and open when I held the key fob in my hand. One day I left the store and the truck was unlocked and I knew I had locked it. Eventually I realized that if I just touched the key fob, the truck would unlock and lock. I googled the problem and found that it could just be the outer plastic shell that has worn off. For €15 it was worth a try. I took out the innards of my controller and put them in this new one. I couldn't believe that was the only problem. I replaced my carved key with a new keychain.
