gels are great. In the visual arts, color theory is a set of practical guidelines for mixing colors and the visual effects of a particular color combination. There are also color categories based on the color wheel: primary, secondary, and tertiary. With these gels, you can use them as primary, secondary or tertiary. We can also fool the camera. Sometimes I use CTO gel (orange color temperature) and keep the camera white balance at 3200K (or close to fluorescent depending on the atmosphere). A flash with CTO strikes the subject's nose at a 45-degree angle. This usually creates a blue background with the original skin tone with no color change from CTO. This can also be done in other ways. By maintaining a color temperature of 10000K (or close to tungsten, depending on sunlight and environment) and using the CTB color temperature of blue, it creates a warmer colored background without changing the skin tone. So we can experiment with many colors since this product comes with many gels. Another trick I use when I have a lot of trees and plants in the background is to apply green gel to a 1/64 power 20mm Godox flash. The greens look a lot greener with the gel and are definitely worth the price. Cons: The user experience is not great. It takes two minutes to extract the gel and save another gel. If you need to change flash positions, camera settings, and flash gels in the middle of a shoot, it's best to have a helper. One of the main disadvantages is using a Harrifong or any other diffuser. The rubber holder they give is quite thick. It's almost impossible to use diffusers or harrifongs with this rubber holder. Find your way: I use rubber bands, thin hair bands or double-sided bands. Creativity is limitless. Many Thanks.
